Sandon is a Warmblood stallion that was born in Oct 1998 out of Warrego Sally (the dam of Warrego Sandy, World Cup winner and Warrego Satchamo, sold to Japan). He is by Warrego Jens who is by Salute (Imp).

He has had a long career competing in A and B grade as well as the World Cup Qualifiers. Some of his most impressive results include winning the 1.50m Qld State Title twice at Toowoomba (which included a $3,300 ATM saddle from Aitkins Saddlery) as well as winning the World Cup Qualifier at the Brisbane Royal.

He has also won the A and B grade "Betty McVean Memorial" at the Wodonga World Cup Qualifier show and placed 3rd in the World Cup there behind Chris Chugg on Vivant and Laurie Lever on Ashleigh Drossel Dan.

Sandon's progeny are some of the best we've seen produced by the stud including Warrego Jetson  and Warrego Jericho.

His first World Cup start was in August 2006 at the Queensland indoor championships held at Toowoomba. At the time he was still C grade which made his performance for 7th place even more impressive.
